Foreword from the President

18th APSPGHAN Conference – Bali, Indonesia | 7–10 July 2027

It is my great honor and privilege to welcome colleagues, friends, and partners from across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world to the 18th Asia Pacific Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (APSPGHAN) Conference, to be held on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia, from 7–10 July 2027.

This gathering represents more than a scientific meeting—it is a celebration of our shared commitment to advancing the health and well-being of children everywhere. Under the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Holistic, Sustainable & Innovative Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Care for All,” we aim to inspire conversations that transcend disciplines, borders, and traditional ways of thinking. Our vision, “Every Child, Every Country, One Shared Future,” reflects the spirit of unity and purpose that defines our community.

The 2027 program will bring together leading experts, emerging voices, and dedicated clinicians to explore breakthroughs in science, innovations in clinical practice, and collaborative solutions to the diverse challenges faced across our region. From cutting-edge research to practical and resource-appropriate approaches, this conference is designed to empower pediatricians, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nutritionists, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver better care—wherever they serve.

We are deeply grateful to our partners, speakers, sponsors, and the entire APSPGHAN family for their unwavering support. I also extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Indonesian Pediatric Society (IDAI) and our local organizing teams, whose dedication and hard work have made this event possible.
